SOP

Sorted Office Paper (SOP) is paper typically generated by offices. The paper can be shredded or unshredded. It can be printed and may contain colored papers.

SOP needs to contain a minimum of 60% woodfree paper, be free of carbon, and principally free from carbonless copy paper (CCP) and no carbon required (NCR). SOP contains less than 10% unbleached fibers including manila envelopes and file covers as well as less than 5% newspapers and packaging. SOP may also include a small amount of groundwood computer printout and facsimile paper.
